Nestled against the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains you’ll find one of California’s premier rose growers. Founded in 1979 by John Furman and Alan Mitchell, California Pajarosa‘s 760,000 square feet of greenhouses were not only built by their employees, but produce over 150 varieties of hybrid tea, sweetheart, and spray roses.

California Pajarosa is a founding grower participant of the Monterey Bay Greenhouse Growers Open Houses. Visitors will learn about hydroponic and sustainable growing techniques coupled with breath-taking beauty of greenhouses full of California Grown roses. After your tour, fresh from the greenhouse rose bouquets and a barbecue lunch of hamburgers, hot dogs, and tri tip sandwiches are available for purchase. All proceeds will be donated to the Santa Cruz Cancer Benefit Group.

California Pajarosa is located at 133 Hughes Road, Watsonville, CA. 95076.
